Trevor Terndrup

Trevor's use of a Goldtop Double Cutaway Gibson with P-90s has been well documented with pictures. This is his primary guitar. This picture is from their Coachella performance on April 23, 2016. The guitar he uses clearly said Custom on the truss rod cover, but I haven't been able to find any info around the web about a Custom Double Cutaway with P-90s.

This image was tweeted September 30, 2014 on Moon Taxi's official Twitter. It clearly shows a Travis Bean guitar, but the model doesn't match any of Travis Bean's standard guitars. After some research, this appears to be a prototype (#12) that Travis Bean made for Jerry Garcia. This prototype was based on the TB500.

Trevor can be seen playing a butterscotch Telecaster throughout Moon Taxi's performance on Seth Meyers' program. This video is from December 16, 2015.

This is the only picture I have been able to find where the model label on the amp that Trevor uses can be seen clearly. This amp seems to match the amp that I have seen him use in several pictures and videos, but those pictures and videos don't show clearly what the model is. This picture is from October 2015.

Terndrup's guitar is a Fender Limited Edition American Standard Double-Cut Telecaster. He swapped out the Twisted Tele pickups for Fender's Gen 4 Noiseless Tele set and put in titanium saddles to help combat the detoriation of the bridge.
