According to Analogman's webiste, Anastastio used the Boss TU-12H tuner pedal back in 2002.

In this video, Trey shows his updated 2021 rig, and points 2 Boss SY-1’s in his effects pedal rack that is controlled by a CAE footswitch made by Bob Bradshaw of CAE.

In this YouTube video from September 07, 2021, at 4:02, Trey points to the visible Klon in the effects rack, saying that it's "newer."

In this YouTube video, at 4:40 the Mu-Tron III can be seen and Trey Anastasio mentions it at 4:43, stating he got it starting Summer 2021 tour.

In this YouTube video, Trey Anastasio says that he replaced his Cry Baby wah pedal with a Bradshaw wah pedal. The pedal is visible at 7:45. At 6:52:

I used to use a Cry Baby but I use the Bradshaw wah-wah now.

In this photo, Trey can be seen playing a sunburst Fender Standard Telecaster, likely an American-made Standard model, at the wedding of Phish’s then-manager Brad Sands’ wedding on September 6, 2008.

According to this February 2020 post on the fansite Trey's Guitar Rig, Anastasio used two Tru-Tron 3X units live between 2015 and early 2018.

Trey first added the Tru-Tron 3x to his rig for the 2015 Fare The Well shows with the “Core Four” surviving members of the Grateful Dead — a necessity given Jerry Garcia’s association with the pedal. To the delight of many fans, the pedal stuck around when Trey brought out his rig for ensuing Phish tours, before disappearing in Summer 2017. It briefly re-appeared for the last show of TAB Fall 2017 tour, and was back in the rig by New Year’s.

Note: Trey has several of these pedals, one of which is branded as “Tru Tron” while another is branded with the original “Mu Tron.” Apparently the new company had an intellectual property issue in getting the rights to the original name for US production so that name was only used for European models.

For some time, Trey has been using 2 envelope filters. For awhile, one was for the classic sweep down (“wahaw” sound) and the other for the sweep up (“ahwah” sound). Later, when he started using more single coil settings, Trey set both filters to sweep down, but used different sensitivity settings so that one would be sensitive enough to be triggered by the lower-output single coil pickups.

As of October 24, 2024, Trey Anastasio is confirmed to use the Keeley Zoma Stereo Reverb and Tremolo in his effects rack, as seen in a post on the "Keeley Sound Check - Open Guitar Effects Forum" on Facebook. This pedal is featured alongside a customized Keeley I Get Around, both modified for remote switching by Bob Bradshaw.

As of October 24th, 2024, Trey Anastasio is confirmed to use a custom version of the Keeley I Get Around, modified for remote use by Bob Bradshaw. This version is finished in a matte black enclosure and is labeled 'rotary' in his effects rack. Trey Anastasio uses two Line 6 M5 Stompbox Modelers in his pedalboard, and can be seen explaining them at 22:47 in this video of his guitar rig.

Trey Anastasio is confirmed to have used the Trainwreck Circuits Express amplifiers, as documented by Ryan Chiachiere in the article "Trey’s New Trainwreck: The Special Guest Amps Revealed" on Trey's Guitar Rig. The article reports that Trey has utilized four different Trainwreck Express amps on loan, in addition to his own personal Trainwreck amplifier in the past.

Trey Anastasio uses the NUX Voodoo Vibe on his pedalboard, as confirmed in a Guitar World interview with Justin Stabler, where it was mentioned alongside other pedals like the original Klon Centaur, Custom Audio Electronics/Dunlop MC404 wah, and Way Huge Supa-Puss analog delay pedal.

Trey Anastasio used two pre-release Keeley Manis Overdrive pedals, in an exclusive PGH black finish, during his acoustic tour at the beginning of 2025. This is confirmed by a post on Trey Anastasio's official Facebook page. Robert Keeley, who created the pedal with Trey in mind, has described the overdrives as being used to add warmth and sustain to Trey's piezo-fitted acoustic guitars.

According to a Facebook post by Robert Troy Keeley Trey used the Keeley RK2000 Funk Siren Delay this past weekend at the Sphere. This delay was developed with input from Trey, after being commissioned by his guitar tech Justin Stabler.
