WRLD took to Twitter, asking, "VSTs to make nice sounding atmospheric pads? I suck at pads and wanna step up my atmosphere game". When fellow Monstercat artist Grant Bowtie recommended Absynth, WRLD replied "dude I need to get into Absynth more!!", implying he had owned the VSTi. He then threw in "next week: Absynth week".

In a interview podcast with EDMProd, WRLD was asked by Sam Matla what his 'desert island' VST's would be if he could have "one synth and two effect plugins". The first effect plugin WRLD could think of was "Effectrix, probably. Just because of the distortion thing; the bitcrusher thing. I use it on everything".

At 9:47 WRLD was asked what DAW he uses and he responded with "I use Ableton 9"

Taking to Twitter, WRLD announced his plans to pick up a new Bitcrusher VST. When another producer recommended Redux, WRLD replied, "i use that on literally everything but i want something with more options haha".
