When asked on Twitter what he uses to make most of his synths, Xilent answers, "Omnisphere, NI Massive + delay + reverb"

In the comments of this Q&A, Xilent says he uses Cubase for production and Ableton for mixing.

Because of the date of his response, it's reasonable to assume he's using Cubase 7.

"I started with a laptop and headphones, but I have expanded to a studio set-up that I’m pretty happy with. A pretty high-tier PC, a NI Komplete audio interface, Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro headphones, a set of KRK studio monitors, obligatory two monitor screens not to feel limited, and an Oxygen 61 midi keyboard to speed things up."

During an interview with SeamlessR, at 01:05:00 Xilent answers a fan's question about how he achieved awesome, full sounding chord combos. Xilent goes on to explain that while he was remixing Ellie Goulding's "Figure 8", he's "...got about 5 maybe 4 Nexus 2 patches loaded up, each one of them playing just one note."

When asked how he makes his supersaw sounds on this Reddit AMA, Xilent replied: "They're basic mixtures of Omnisphere, Nexus 2, Sylenth and spatial imaging with a touch of subtractive EQ."
