OK - so its a loooong way out of date, but whop cares?! I bought a digital mixer, and I've tried to do it on the PC, but nothing compares to the way this machine works!

I am so far behind technologically speaking! But I still lobe this machine with Cubase 1989 version. I managed to get hold of a rare hard drive as well so the boot-up and save etc is damn site quicker. Aside from that - it never seems to crash, and the timing is rock solid. No latency issues here! It does what I need. I am not only scared to change it, I actually don't want to!

If there is one machine I see as "home" in my studio it has to be this one! It was a little tricky to get into at first but I now have it turning somersaults for me, direct from the sequencer. It can be a little slow to pickup program and bank changes - but if like me you don't need to cop out, and you move everything via the sequencer in the controllers and sysex - its a winner!
