Chase Tone is a boutique effects pedal company founded by Kyle Chase, operating from a shop on his family's property near Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. Described by Premier Guitar as "possibly the world's most OCD builder of new-old-stock amps and effects," Chase is known for an extraordinarily meticulous approach to recreating iconic vintage circuits. He builds exclusively with NOS (New Old Stock) components or custom-fabricated parts made to period-correct specifications, sourcing materials from around the world — a process so thorough that his first Marshall amplifier replica took nearly eight years to complete.

The company's core lineup centers on effects pedals, including the Secret Preamp — an adaptation of the coveted Echoplex preamp circuit, first released in 2013 — and the Fuzz Fella, a germanium and silicon fuzz available in multiple editions such as the '68 Red Velvet Fuzz and the Blue BC108C. Chase Tone also produces the Purple Stardust Hi-Octave fuzz and a range of wah pedals including the Scripture Wah, Gypsy Wah, and Script Wah, many of which are modeled after vintage Vox Clyde McCoy and Italian Cry Baby designs. Beyond pedals, Chase has built replica amplifiers inspired by Marshall JTM45/100, Fender Champ, and Vox circuits, as well as replica Fender Stratocasters.

Chase Tone pedals are used by a wide range of professional guitarists, including Jim Weider of The Band, G.E. Smith of the Saturday Night Live band, Charlie Starr of Blackberry Smoke, Nick Perri of Silvertide, Scott Henderson, Matt O'Ree, Gordon Kennedy, and Simon Johnson of Tom Jones' touring band. The brand operates primarily as a one-man shop, with Chase personally building and voicing each unit.
