Better with the volume rolled off
It's a lovely sounding fuzz with a lot of low end. Perhaps a bit too much low end for some. However, rolling back your guitar volume gives a fantastic overdrive. Just one knob makes it very easy to control, just find the volume you like and go from there.

Versatile and very cool fuzz
This is my first experience of a Bosstone clone. With the fuzz anywhere up to halfway on the dial and the bias low this pedal sounds like a normal fuzz. Slightly Fuzz Face territory. With both turned fully ccw it's a gritty overdrive. However, bring the bias and/or fuzz level up and you get a lot of upper octave and harmonics and a bit of splatty/velcro sounds. It reminds me of a DOD Carcosa but with better build quality.

Overdrive, boost, vibrato and uni-vibe
This pedal does a lot. I mainly use it as an overdrive with volume and master to match the amp. The overdrive is very similar to a Blues Driver but with less fizz on the decay. There's a lot of EQ. 3 overall settings...bright, normal and dark. I also use it as a fairly clean boost. With low output pickups (Fender Mustang) it remains clean with the volume down. With my Jazzmaster and Telecaster it clips even at lowest volume. The wet vibrato setting is glorious. Even with the depth up full it's useable. With the wet/dry switch engage you lose a bit of volume and low end. So if you're using this on that setting you will need to adjust the EQ accordingly, meaning you can't really use the overdrive side of the pedal as it'll be boosting volume too much. However, on the wet setting you can turn the vibrato on and off without any impact on the overdrive circuit. If I could only keep two drive pedals this would be one.
