Gig-FX is a Massachusetts-based guitar effects pedal company co-founded by Jeff Purchon and analog circuit designer Bruce Ritz. Based in Waltham with design and support in Wellesley, the company debuted at NAMM in 2004 with the Chopper, a dual-oscillator modulation pedal that went on to appear in Guitar World's Top 50 Pedals list for three consecutive years. Gig-FX pedals are built with lightweight aircraft-quality aluminum housings, true analog signal paths, and the company's proprietary "Better Than True By-Pass" optical switching.

The product line spans wah pedals, modulation effects, overdrive, and delay. The Mega-Wah offers multiple wah voices in a compact expression pedal format, and the Sub-Wah is designed specifically for bass with a sweep reaching below low B. The VOD is a three-stage variable overdrive with a 3-band EQ, and the PanEcho is a foot-controlled stereo delay pedal. Gig-FX also produces the Pro-Chop, a performance-oriented version of the Chopper.

The company has released signature pedals with notable artists, including the Peter Frampton Mega-Wah and the Johnny Hiland Kilo-Wah. Other artists associated with the brand include Adrian Belew, Mark Tremonti, Tool, Nick McCabe of The Verve, Richard Fortus of Guns N' Roses, and Bootsy Collins.

Gig-FX has 7 products cataloged on Equipboard, including Wah Pedals, Tremolo Effects Pedals, and Overdrive Effects Pedals. Their gear is featured by 7 artists, with the strongest followings in Rock, Folk, World, & Country, and Funk / Soul. Notable users include Peter Frampton, Adrian Belew, and Adam Jones.
