Hipshot Products is an American manufacturer of guitar and bass hardware founded in 1983 by Dave Borisoff. Originally based in Van Nuys, California, the company is now headquartered in Interlaken, New York, where it designs and manufactures its hardware in-house — a rarity among guitar parts makers.

The company is best known for the Bass Xtender (widely referred to as the "D-Tuner"), a lever-operated detuner that allows players to drop a string's pitch to a preset lower tone and return to standard tuning instantly.
