Rockbridge Guitar Company is a small custom acoustic guitar shop based in Charlottesville, Virginia, founded in 2002 by luthiers Brian Calhoun and Randall Ray. The company takes its name from Rockbridge County, Virginia, the founders' home region. Builders Adam McNeil and Jake Hopping joined the shop over the following decade, and the team maintains a limited annual output that allows for hand-built construction and a high degree of customization.

Rockbridge builds steel-string flat-tops in several body shapes, including a traditional Dreadnought, a slope-shouldered SJ, and smaller O, OO, and OOO bodies, with 12-string versions offered in the SJ and OOO shapes. Rather than cloning vintage Martin or Gibson designs, the builders aim for a balanced, clear voice across the range, using their own top bracing and a slightly enlarged sound hole. Each instrument is made to order with customer-selected tonewoods, appointments, and neck specs.

The shop's guitars have been picked up by a number of touring and session players, including Dave Matthews, Mike Campbell, Ray LaMontagne, Jason Mraz, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Richie Sambora, and Warren Haynes, who has been associated with the SJ model.
