Schiit Audio is an American audio electronics company founded in 2010 by Jason Stoddard and Mike Moffat. The company designs and manufactures headphone amplifiers, digital-to-analog converters (DACs), and preamplifiers, with chassis made in California, PCBs produced in Nevada, and final assembly at its Corpus Christi, Texas facility. Moffat previously designed high-end DACs at Theta Digital, and the pair founded Schiit with the goal of selling affordable desktop hi-fi direct to consumers, bypassing traditional dealer networks.
