Founded by brothers B.J. and Joe Buchalter in Safety Harbor, Florida, Metric Halo is a professional audio company specializing in high-end audio interfaces, converters, and signal processing software. The company introduced the Mobile I/O 2882 in 2001 — one of the first FireWire audio interfaces designed for the Macintosh — and has built a reputation around "future-proof" hardware design, engineering its interfaces to accept periodic hardware upgrades as computer technology evolves.
