Description
The TWX-4 Trem Vintage Bass made in Japan by TUNE
The TUNE TWX-4 TREM is a rare, high-end Japanese electric bass from the early 1990s, designed as a premium model with advanced features uncommon for bass guitars. Its standout element is the proprietary C.A.T. (Convertible Action Tremolo) system, which allows players to use a whammy bar, something rarely seen on bass instruments. Built with a neck-through construction and high-quality tonewoods, it delivers strong sustain, stability, and a rich tonal character. The instrument also includes active electronics and humbucking pickups, offering a wide range of tonal shaping options. Locking tuners and a floating bridge system enhance tuning stability despite the tremolo mechanism. Overall, it is considered a boutique, collectible instrument known for both innovation and craftsmanship.
