Verellen Amplifiers is a small-batch custom amplifier company based in Seattle, Washington, founded by Ben Verellen, who played bass in the post-hardcore band Harkonen and later in sludge/noise rock trio Helms Alee. Operating since 2007, the shop hand-builds guitar and bass heads, speaker cabinets, and pedals one unit at a time, finishing each amp in a distinctive raw wood enclosure with the company name burned into the cabinet.

The lineup is best known for high-wattage, thickly voiced bass amplifiers like the 300-watt Meatsmoke, alongside guitar heads such as the 100-watt Loucks, the higher-gain and tighter Skyhammer, the Coupe, and the Spaldo. The company also produces tube-driven Meatsmoke and Skyhammer preamp pedals that reproduce the front end of their namesake amps, along with custom speaker cabinets and one-off builds made to individual player specifications.

Verellen has developed a following in the doom, sludge, hardcore, and heavy rock scenes thanks to its saturated low end and willingness to tailor builds. The amps carry a lifetime warranty, and each unit is wired by hand in the Seattle workshop rather than produced on a factory line.

Verellen has 7 products cataloged on Equipboard, including Guitar Amplifier Heads, Fuzz Effects Pedals, and Guitar Preamp Pedals. Their gear is featured by 19 artists, with the strongest followings in Rock, Metal, and Electronic. Notable users include Mike Sullivan, Cory Murchy, and Scott Lucas.
