Then I channel switch between that and a Vox AC30 and sometimes a Fender Twin Reverb. Obviously with the Fender Twin and the AC30 I’m going for a more mild tone; the AC30 usually covers, especially if I’m just going for a mild distortion, but if I’m running the Twin Reverb
At 2:11, in a Premier Guitar interview, Claudio uses a Telecaster for "The Afterman"
"I have lots of pedals, all controlled by a Voodoo Lab switching system. A few of my favorites are an old MXR M-118 Analog Delay that sounds beautiful, The Great Destroyer fuzz by Dwarfcraft which sounds like you might expect given its name…"
He talks about this guitar in Guitar World interview.
"I also played a ’77 Fender Tele Deluxe that belonged to [producer] Jay Joyce. I ended up using that on a lot of the songs. I liked it so much that I found one at this place called Carter Vintage Guitars in Nashville and I bought it."
So, in fact, he played 2 1977 Fender Telecaster Deluxes.

In this post claudio can be seen using a gibson sg live with coheed
I’ll usually put an OCD pedal on it, which I believe is done by Fulltone. You know, just to give it some dirt. Ibanez AD-9If I’m looking for nice clean sound, I’ll probably stick to the Twin Reverb and I’ll push the toggle to the middle position or the neck position. To give it that David Gilmour kind of warmth or Mark Knopfler. It’s more for solos, just to warm
Claudio uses this Taylor GS8 interchangeably on Iron Fist and Wake Up with his Martin HD-28.

Claudio uses this HD-28 on a song called Iron Fist and another called Wake Up.
That’s pretty much it. I’ll run through an effects pedal board, but I’m not really even using a whole lot there ? just a few delay pedals. There’s an Ibanez analog delay AD9, Line 6 delay modeler and a Bad Horsie Wah, that’s pretty much it. It’s not a massive pedal board. Basically I just rely on the guitar, the tone and the amps.
In this rig rundown by Premier Guitar, the tech for Coheed and Cambria clearly states that they use the Audio Technica 5000 Series wireless system at approximately 06:28.

Claudio uses a Whirlwind switcher and Audio-Technica wireless units into a Fractal Audio Axe-FX Ultra through a Matrix GT1000FX power amp to a cabinet onstage for monitoring. The house sound goes direct from the Axe-FX.
For patches, Claudio's main distortion tone is based on two Marshall Super Lead types, with a wah and pitch shifter set to expression pedals onstage. Medium gain is based on an old Orange head with various delays and effects, and his clean is modeled after a brownface Fender amp with delay and compressor.
The system is controlled with a Voodoo Lab Ground Control Pro with two Mission expression pedals for octave up and wah. He uses a Mission Tap Tempo pedal as well.
