Can you add

https://reverb.com/item/53130999-fender-cme-exclusive-player-jazzmaster-2020-present-shell-pink-white

From my understanding, special color runs do not merit their own item submissions unless they are distinct limited editions.

(Equipboard is failing to import it via the guitar center url https://www.guitarcenter.com/ESP/LTD-TA-604FRX-Electric-Bass-Guitar.gc)

12 days later submission still not handled and GC links are still failing "We're having trouble finding a product with that link. See the tips below for correct formatting, or contact us for help."

This new system is terrible

This is actually a matter of Guitar Center and Sweetwater’s own formatting. I myself have had to wait a month or two to submit some Sweetwater items. Reverb links work fine, though, for some reason. We’ll see what we can do.

Mods can you please add these? Have a few that I can’t find a proper link on reverb.

Working on all these now as my final challenge before the evening here in Nagasaki - will edit post with links next to above quote as they are added!

If a mod reappears, or if anyone with over 500 IQ wants to step in, I got up to and including the first post on page 29!

Edit: I got through these ones, and done for today... would love if someone else could take it from p29 second post and onwards - if not I'll try and do more when I get time!

You have done a great service! Thank you.

It'll take me months of making forum comments before I reach 500 IQ, but I'll keep working on it. Cheers!

You can also submit! There are some old forums posts here where I just dumped a bunch of sources to be up for grabs. Those should be an easy way to rack up Gear IQ.

Admins apparently aren't adding items from this forum anymore.

Anyone released music via NFTs?

Do you own anything from his projects?

Gramatik gives his audience the option of downloading all of his music as free MP3s, so I just do that. Plus, you can just download the NFT video files off of the NFT page.

Personally, I’m still skeptical of blockchain. I have yet to acquire any cryptocurrency or NFT.

Anyone released music via NFTs?

But I'd really want to hear from artists that don't have the following of a Shinoda, Zedd, Aoki about how it went. It seems like you could use blockchain/NFTs as a crowdfunding mechanism just as easily as a kickstarter to fund a tour or recording sessions as well.

Gramatik is an artist who has been a big advocate of cryptocurrency and NFT. He’s directing his followers to stream his music on Audius, which uses its proprietary $AUDIO currency, while also releasing visualizers as NFTS:

A few of his songs reference cryptocurrency: “Satoshi Nakamoto”, “Future Crypto” and the newly-released “Just A Scribble”, which samples a Nic Carter interview.

Earthworks Icon Pro

Just to fill in some blanks: I’m currently using the Rode Procaster with an M-Audio Air interface for work. But I hope to eventually get a mixer, record some stuff (music and/or vocals), maybe livestream too, so I’m looking at things that could potentially serve double duty (ie. maybe overkill for work but great to use for music too).

Sounds like you're set to me! A Procaster is high quality.

Earthworks Icon Pro

Personally, I don’t think a mic of that price range is needed for a video chat. Regarding livestreaming, a cheaper USB mic like a Blue Snowball should work fine. Equipboard’s Podcast Mic Guide might also be helpful.

Which synth is this one?

Between the two, it's an Electro 5. The 6's rightmost controls have a red bar that the 5 lacks. Furthermore, this Tiny Desk Concert was recorded on August 6, 2018, only shortly after the announcement of the Electro 6 on January 23, 2018.

Good catch. It's just a bug of some sort. Thankfully, this doesn't seem like something that is significantly impeding anyone's navigation of Equipboard, but you're right that it should be investigated.

It's not a bug. That's just the way items without shopping links are formatted. Your feedback is appreciated, however. Personally, I also miss that orange hyperlink on those pages.

Why Can't I add items without a link?

But how can I change the personal priority to show the photo of my diy pedal first in my collection/ equipment overview?

Aha. As someone with no gear photos, I do not know how to do that.

4yover 4 years ago

Why Can't I add items without a link?

Now I have a problem concerning a diy pedal kit and asking the mods to give me a statement/ solution for my case.

It’s about this guitar pedal:

https://equipboard.com/items/aion-helios

Pedal was originally added by me. There a actual 2 versions: 1. a diy version / PCB only on which I added informations and a photo of my own pedal enclosure design. 2. a fully assembled guitar pedal

As you can see the item https://equipboard.com/items/aion-helios/edit?src=email was edited by an other user in the assumption that it’s related to 2. the fully assembled pedal

So the user overrides my personal photo with the one of the assembled pedal.

My problem is:

  • the photo of my personal design enclosure is not shown neither on the general itempage nor my equipment overview - I want my design - no standard photo…
  • there should be 2 items - one for the diy pcb kit and one for the normal pedal

How can we deal with that?

The assembled unit takes pictoral priority. The PCB photo can be posted secondarily.

Will there be a function of equipboard to have a personal photo with some items?

There already is. This displays after the main product photo on the item page.
