I have only really heard good things about this pedal but I was still surprised just how much I like it. It is very transparent and uses the tone of the guitar. Very wonderful for stacking or for just a little overdrive. Love, love, love it! Plus, you can't beat that price!
I tried these strings on a whim and now I pretty much only use these. They have a very rich and full tone. Most people who play my guitars are surprised by just how great they sound even unplugged.
I bought this wanting to experiment with tremolo effects. It sounds very nice right out of the box but I highly recommend modding or having someone mod it for you to give it a shape knob. There is a control inside the box to manually adjust it but you need it on the outside.
This was my first amp. It is a hybrid so you still get a very nice natural tube sound from it. The modeling effects are alright but they don't compare to a full set of pedals. This amp is a very nice gateway to find what you really need/want. The tone control knobs are very responsive and with the different amp choices you can get some very nice sounds.
I was a little skeptical because Biyang seems like a "cheap" pedal company but similar to Joyo they are surprisingly good. The different room sizes give you a lot of options and I can match pretty much any reverb just with this one pedal. Love it!
I know a few pros use this pedal but I am not too crazy about it. It is a nice starting pedal to play around with. Maybe its just not what I need :) I do like some of the sounds it can make when the tone is rolled back and the gain is lower. it is not very versatile though.
I absolutely love the range this pedal has. I can use it for a lower gain overdrive, classic rock distortion, nasty medal pedal. Stacked with an overdrive it can even fuzz a little. The tone controls are very responsive and can make magic happen. The clipping style is one of my favorites for distortion. I highly recommend this pedal.
Personally I think this sounds just like an OCD Overdrive. I have tried them side by side and there is BARELY any difference. It is very versatile and responsive and I HIGHLY recommend it because of the price. It is still one of my main go-to pedals and it always will be.
I bought this used from a guy who giged with it for several years and I have been using it for a while now. It still works great and really that's it. The "always on" buffer inside only pleases me also. i personally like the subtle change it gives my setup.
