Crystal clear and simple trem for great value for money
Tremolo is one of my favourite effects but I have never really been interested in much more than just the standard effect - this trem is very affordable, has a lot of range in it's volume knobs and surprisingly good build & durability for the price (I've had it around 3 years at time of review, second hand, and it still looks & plays factory new). Perfect for stomp-n-play tremolo lovers who dont have time to dial in 15 specific perameters for an effect that essentially turns the volume up and down and aren't interested in the bells and whistles you get on these nowadays such as tap tempo etc. 4 stars because of the negligible volume drop off (I'm picky).
Preferred Settings + Usage:
Does clean guitar signal beautifully, stacks well with reverb and other tremolos and sounds great with piano (A la Planet Telex)

Good
For an economical price, you get a good pedal. It's very simple to use, with one knob you can change the intensity of the effect, from less to more, and with the other, the speed of the oscillations. This type of tremolo is subtle, not as exaggerated as other types of tremolos.

Good but nothing special
I bought this wanting to experiment with tremolo effects. It sounds very nice right out of the box but I highly recommend modding or having someone mod it for you to give it a shape knob. There is a control inside the box to manually adjust it but you need it on the outside.

What's the point of buying a cheap pedal if you have to hire someone to mod it to make it usable?
149
I never said it was unusable before the mod. In the end I still only paid $40 total between the pedal and the mod. I am on a bit of a tight budget so I can't really go out and spend $150. You don't need to mod it if you don't want to lol, I just thought it makes it a little more versatile.

decent tremolo
not an effect I use much but it does the job asked of it. True Bypass. Battery cover on the back is a little annoying - easy to pull off when changing Velcro

Ok for what it is....
My old trem pedal finally croaked, needed a cheap replacement. Find I need to whack the intensity and rate up a bit higher than my last to get the desired effect. Can't knock it for the price though,

Good sound but simple
It's really funny that effect has hidden knobs. Anyway for this price great. No noise and analog warm sound.
Knobs could have different characteristics. Do anyone use depth below half? Or need so much precision on low speeds while there is no on high?
Great On A Budget
Bret Goodjohn's main tremolo unit. Continuing his fascination with achieving the greatest "Pink Floyd" noises, all while spending next to nothing.
