Must have for me
Wish I could have got one years ago, amazing piece of tech that made my life a lot easier Just be sure to play loud enough to prevent you from hearing the strings.
It drops your tuning great but doesn't replace the beefy strings you would use for a lower tuning.
Great for jamming, rehearsals live use without constantly switching guitars or retuning.
Warning: If your wife knows about this pedal then you have no more excuses for buying more guitars.

Great for bass/low A, stylish and gorgeous
Tracked one down after seeing some people recommending it over the Korg racktuners specifically for tracking bass guitar's low B's and low As.
Bright leds and bright screen, cool screensaver mode, mute function by button press or external footswitch, inputs on the front and back.
Somehow the mute/buffered output broke after some time

Terrible presentation, a noise supressor that adds hiss?
The pedal is great and is definitely one of the best around. Very sturdy and with a smooth knob.
Now the complaints:
-First the presentation on this. The original and the V2 Decimator look stunning but this 145EUR Deci-mate pedal looks like a 25EUR purchase from wish. The unit arrived in a blank box with a black and white sticker, pedal was inside a small pouch and the manual was a poorly folded A4 sheet of paper.
-Second: At first I thought the unit had no filtering on the DC power and would introduce noise/hiss unless you had a decent DC power supply. So I got a nicer DC supply and the unit still introduces noise/hiss as soon as it is powered on.
Third: The LED is way too bright and makes it hard to see the knob without covering LED first
Preferred Settings + Usage:
The 12 o clock position seems perfect for me taking a small nudge left or right when needed

Great and sturdy
Great presentation on the packaging and pedal itself. Feels like a premium product 10x more expensive.
Works great and mutes great. No noticable noise/hiss or signal coloring.
Only complain is the LED's are so bright that they make the dimmer LCD screen hard to see
Tech 21 SansAmp Bass Driver Direct Input
Avg price: $234.17
Built like a tank and with a great presentation
Built like a tank and with a great presentation.
Very nice packaging and instructions printed on glossy paper although not very helpful or detailed..
The unit is very sturdy, the only issue is the battery door and mechanism. The door is kind of hard to seat in place and has a big screw bulging on the outside of the pedal, meanwhile the battery sits loosely on the inside. You have to keep both jacks disconnected to prevent battery drain. This pedal should have a standard barrel type 9v external connection
