Tube-like distortion pedal
This is a permanent fixture in my pedalboard. This is essentially a Maxon SD-9 with better controls. The sweep on the gain knob is a lot more linear than the original Maxon. I don't use this as a distortion pedal, rather I use it as an overdrive. It's not at all transparent like the Jan Ray or ODR-1 or even the OCD (on low settings) and it will change your tone, but in a good way in my opinion. The distorted tones coming out of it don't sound like any other overdrive or distortion. It is very unique. It is hard to describe but imagine an old glassy Fender amp with a distortion in front it. That's what it sounds like.

Out of print. GOAT compressor.
Best compressor I've ever owned period. They don't make this specific model anymore so if you can find one, grab it!

Smooth, suprisingly very Marshall sounding
This pedal can go from AAL style modern distortion to cranked up Marshall. I'm probably the only one who uses this for Marshall sounds. There's a switch that gives you a choice between "Smooth" and "Edge." I'm usually on the smooth voicing. I compare the Smooth Voicing to a tubescreamer in front of a Marshall. Much like a tubescreamer (or your choice of overdrive) in front of gained up amp, it'll make your sound liquid.

Good OD, not good company
I taped over OCD on mine and replaced it with BLM. Anyway, this is an iconic OD. Also, buy it used, this way, Mike isn't making a penny out of you.

Free The Tone Audio Routing Controller ARC-3
Avg price: $579.31
Powerful but complex
Not the friendliest switcher out now. Doesn't have stereo outs which means you'll need a separate interface for stereo. They remedied that with the ARC-4. Aesthetics wise, it's the best looking switcher out there imo. Made in Japan which means it's sturdy and well built with top tier craftsmanship. I took 1 star out because it's a lil less simple to use compared to the Mastermind or Boss.

Simple, powerful
Best affordable Midi controller out now. Easy to program, intuitive app, tons of documentation. The product youtube channel is also extremely helpful for people who don't like reading like myself.
