Features and functionality

Terrible presentation, a noise supressor that adds hiss?

The pedal is great and is definitely one of the best around. Very sturdy and with a smooth knob.

Now the complaints:

-First the presentation on this. The original and the V2 Decimator look stunning but this 145EUR Deci-mate pedal looks like a 25EUR purchase from wish. The unit arrived in a blank box with a black and white sticker, pedal was inside a small pouch and the manual was a poorly folded A4 sheet of paper.

-Second: At first I thought the unit had no filtering on the DC power and would introduce noise/hiss unless you had a decent DC power supply. So I got a nicer DC supply and the unit still introduces noise/hiss as soon as it is powered on.

Third: The LED is way too bright and makes it hard to see the knob without covering LED first

Preferred Settings + Usage:

The 12 o clock position seems perfect for me taking a small nudge left or right when needed

A Decimator circuit in a manageable form factor.

I think ISP Technologies summartised this pedal pretty well: "The DECI-MATE pedal is a full implementation of the world renowned Decimator circuit with new tracking improvements in a small, micro pedal package. When real estate is critical, the DECI-MATE is the answer."
