Gear 13

Extremely well made for a non-American manufactured guitar. Lots of aesthetic extras and upgrades including: abalone inlays & striping, matching paint scheme headstock, low profile, unfinished maple neck and rosewood fretboard, active EMG 81/85 HB, and a FR licensed trem. Overall this is a true example of a Charvel/Jackson soloist style guitar that was well worth the money.
Solid product from PRS that’s worth the price. Manufactured in Asia but quality controlled at PRS MD USA.

First electric I ever bought. Made some mechanical alterations to lower the action and swapped in a DiMarzio SD humbucker into the bridge position and this thing was rip roaring. Well balanced electric that was solidly made just like most 70s/80s Japanese guitars.
This thing was not a tubescreamer or a boss... if I were being critical I’d say it was one of the worst distortion pedals I ever used. But it was cheaper than the others I mentioned and when you’re 14 yrs old birthday money from grandma didn’t go that far in the 80s.
