Mesa in a pedal
Sounds just like a triple rectifier. Modern high gain sounds but with the tone of of the real tube amp with the 12ax7 in the pedal. I've had two of these. The current one gives off a bit more noise than the original. Thinking its gotta be the tube. I love this pedal though. Both my amps are only two channels. I can get a high gain sound so easily from the egnater head. But if i want to take it really over the top, I click on the rocktron. This allows me to dial off the gain on my amps and the silver dragon just pushes that channel like an overdrive. But i use it for rhythm usually. Got lots of chunk, midrange and tone.
