One of the more obvious choices for boards. Perfect for the 'just want a board, don't wanna spend weeks in workshop' crew. Has space for decent number of boxes, pedals and power. Would benefit from some built in cable routing underneath but I guess they've left this to enable full customisation. See my euipboard for my layout.
Superb power unit with up to 12 isolated DC outputs. Very quiet and versatile with 9/12/18v options (the latter with a special double-up adaptor cable). Can output up to 450mA from 4 of the outputs - that's from each one. My unit powers all my effects - including a Beat Buddy and an Infinity Looper. Fixes directly to underside of Pedal Train 3 (the board ships with the right mounts for it). Great unit.
Solid German engineering. Attention to detail and component quality is second-to-none. I use this to split my clean guitar tone direct to my DAW and to my effects board at the same time so I can record what I practice and add post effects in software later. Great box.
Lava cables have to be one of the coolest products for a guitarists life. Really simple but effective method of making your own low-profile, high-quality patch wiring ad works great with Pedal Train style boards. Just get yourself some 100mm zip ties and some self-adhesive tie anchors and you're off. Great product and worth every penny.
Fantastic tuner - truly great.
Built like a tank and guaranteed to sound as loud as one with the 20dB boost. Truly awesome Wah - if a tad 'Tank-Sized'.
Just got this one having spent a good bit of time researching decent, flexible compressors for a wide range of uses. Incredibly versatile with 9v and 18v power options for those wanting a bit more headroom.
Love this pedal. Tends to be a bit particular about where it needs to sit. I have mine after my comp at the front end. Really wide tonal palette and sounds great with Soul Food too. Watch our though - needs 9V centre +ve (not usual -ve) - make sure your power unit can handle it.
Just got this one to add some more bite. Was not disappointed. Run it behind a Fulltone '69 and infant of a TC Dark Matter distortion - the three sound epic. Lots of tonal variation from SF - neat little number!
Got this little beauty on a TC Festive Special Offer - well almost. Still waiting for it to turn up. Youtube vids look promising though.
A very versatile Chorus pedal from the Danes. Tone print custom tones makes this a unique offering in its class. Very capable all round good pedal.
Just got this monster to add some colour and craziness to my board. Love it. Creates some mental, organ like tones (with the Octave/Verb/Flang/Shimmer combo). Another class product from EHX.
Fantastic new addition to my board, or anyone's board for that matter. Very interesting options on this one including a stereo TRS control port for adding an expression pedal (to affect the number of delay repeats) or to send the 'wet' delay tone to an external effect, or splitting the dry and wet tones to different amps - endless possibilities....sibilities.....ities.....ies....
Unique looper for the live performer(s). Really cool feature set including unique loop matching of second loop as multiple of first. If you want top end looper with good MIDI implementation then its this or the Rang III.
Another awesome little signal splitter from Lehle. Similar to the P-Split but with A/B or A+B function. I use it in front of my amps to enable different tones or to give me a nice double track into my desk. Works great with my Suhr Corso, AcusOne6 and my PRS Hollowbody II (twin 'buckers and Piezo outputs).
Beat box in a pedal.Sync's over MIDI with looper too. Just getting to know it but what I've seen so far is really great. Needs a lot of juice though (>300mA) so make sure your power block can handle it. My original T-Rex Classic couldn't.
Not bad for the money. Made of plastic throughput but rugged all the same. Not sure it would last long on the road, but fine for the studio.
Got this little baby on eBay after seeing Pete Thorn put one through its paces. Wow! What a kick-ass little performer this is. Has a very wide tonal palette, will drive two 8Ohm speakers until your ears give in and has a direct-out to give you the full tone of the amp at line level for your DAW. Looks fantastic on the desk too!
