Critic Reviews

Suhr Corso review | MusicRadar

musicradar.com

The Suhr Corso is a stellar 5-watt recording amp for musicians seeking precise tonal control in a studio or home setting. It boasts excellent build quality, modern aesthetics, and versatile sound shaping capabilities. Packed with features, it offers a broad range of tones, from vintage cleans to modern high-gain, all without unwanted noise. However, its low power output limits its use to non-gig environments, and the volume control can be slightly too abrupt for late-night practice. Despite the high price tag, the Corso's performance and craftsmanship justify the investment.

Your want one? Corso you do!

Got this little baby on eBay after seeing Pete Thorn put one through its paces. Wow! What a kick-ass little performer this is. Has a very wide tonal palette, will drive two 8Ohm speakers until your ears give in and has a direct-out to give you the full tone of the amp at line level for your DAW. Looks fantastic on the desk too!
