Beat buddy
If you can't find a reliable drummer for recording who can't show up on time be ready or stay on time this pedal is for you. It's not a synthetic drummer it is real drummers recording real drum beat accents and fills at your finger tips. Has hundreds of settings and the company is always upgrading and adding new soft ware that is easily add to the pedal. For me it makes recording less time consuming considering good drummers are not always available. Check out this pedal @ http://www.michaeltiffanymusic.com in action on my own album. Michael Tiffany

Great Piece of equipment
What can it do: - things actual drummer can, just without the dynamics. - like any drum machine, can only be used on songs with a "normal" time signature. - good amount of users online, can download free patches for cover songs. - fill variation per patch, so it feels like a real drummer less flirting with your vocalist.
Cons: -comes with a very cheap power supply. good thing it is just the same as the universal effects PS, center negative but requires a lot of power, >300A. - pricey if you are not earning from it. if this is above your budget, consider the beat buddy mini. Same print, but the quality of the recorded drums samples are of low quality than its big brother. - need to purchase the separate foot pedal, or you won't be using its full potential.

Nice drum computer pedal for a guitarplayer. Especially if you have a fight with your drummer.
The BeatBuddy is a drum computer that you can control with your foot. Ideal for the guitarist. Good to use with a Pixtronix Infinity Looper pedal. Nicely compact design. You can set different rhythms and different speeds, but also fills and intros. Well thought about it. You cannot program a drum part yourself, that would still be a nice option.

No more arguments with the drummer!
Beat box in a pedal.Sync's over MIDI with looper too. Just getting to know it but what I've seen so far is really great. Needs a lot of juice though (>300mA) so make sure your power block can handle it. My original T-Rex Classic couldn't.
