Description

Unleash the raw power of vintage fuzz with the Distorque Face Bender, a versatile distortion plugin that expertly emulates the iconic sounds of the Fuzz Face and Tone Bender MKII. Whether you're chasing the thick, woolly distortion made famous by legends like Jimi Hendrix, or the brighter, more aggressive tones of the Tone Bender, this plugin offers a treasure trove of sonic possibilities. Designed for musicians who demand flexibility and authenticity, the Face Bender allows you to sculpt your sound with precision.

Featuring a range of intuitive controls, the Face Bender empowers you to fine-tune your audio input and output with finesse. The Input Level and Input Filter controls enable you to tailor the incoming signal, while the Clean Blend feature allows you to mix clean and distorted tones seamlessly. For those who crave a more dynamic and textured sound, the Gate function introduces a gated effect, perfect for achieving those sought-after splattery fuzz sounds. The Lo Cut and Hi Cut controls provide additional tonal shaping, ensuring that your final mix cuts through with clarity.

Ideal for both mono and stereo setups, the Distorque Face Bender also offers selectable 2x oversampling to enhance your audio resolution. This plugin is a must-have for any musician looking to inject their music with the timeless character of classic fuzz, all from the convenience of your PC.

I've found a use for this bad boy

I've been mixing an album for a friend and tis a very clean digital recording of a stonesy, swampy rock n roll band... I've been using the clean blend on this to add little bits of 'gated; transistory dirt to my busses. the 2 different transistor simulations and all the voicing controls are great. in this role I definitely prefer the fuzz face side to the tonebender side although for DI guitar the tonebender sounds better to my ear. Its not the real thing though. These guys make great free distortion machines for when you wanna add some really specific kinda dirt sounds to a mix.
