Critic Reviews

E-MU Emulator X3 review | MusicRadar

musicradar.com

E-MU Emulator X3 shines as a refined and powerful sampler with a rich legacy, offering impressive features like autosampling and customizable ZPlane filters. It excels in sound design with tools like Synthswipe and Morph Filter Designer. However, the Xtractor and Translator tools can be finicky, and compatibility issues with certain file formats, like GigaStudio 4, may hinder some users. Despite these quirks, Emulator X3 offers a robust set of bundled content and functionality that justifies its price, providing serious value for those delving into sampling and sound manipulation.

super cool sampler thingy

this came with my soundcard back when I got it and its super cool but it doesn't sound like an emaulator or emax, its so fucking pristine and nice so tis not like you can use it to do the emu thing, you can't... but its a great sampler/editor and comes standalone or as a plugin.
