In this video, a Gretsch rep shows off the Taylor Hawkins Signature Series Snare Drum at the NAMM show.
"We have Taylor’s new Signature Series snare drum that we worked with Taylor on. This is a 6.5x14 black nickel over steel, it’s a 10 lug drum, really opens up, sounds great, comes in with Remo Emperor X batter head on here. It’ s a cool drum that’s really accessible for many drummers. Taylor was really asking to have a drum developed that a lot of drummers could have access to. So I think you’ll find the price points appealing, and it’s a drum that Taylor really likes, he checked out, he’s played it in the studio, he said, “yeah, that’s a very cool drum.” So we’re really happy to work with Taylor on a signature badge, it has his hawk on it, it’s just kind of fresh for Gretsch."
