Description

Who needs a full-sized vocal booth when you can have the Isovox 2 Vocal-booth? This ingenious home studio solution offers a compact and mobile option for recording and practicing vocals without the hassle of a traditional setup. Enveloping you from the shoulders up, it effectively traps your voice and shields your microphone from unwanted room noise and reflections. It's the perfect companion for singers and voice-over artists looking to maintain professional sound quality in a home environment.

The Isovox 2 is engineered with patented 360 XYZ Pro-Acoustics technology, which enhances clarity by absorbing and diffusing sound, while a specialized RCD-shield minimizes external noise from everyday distractions like traffic and neighbors. Despite its advanced technology, the booth is not entirely soundproof, so some spill-sound may occur depending on your vocal power and type.

With its detachable side panels and integrated cable channel, the Isovox 2 is as user-friendly as it is effective. It assembles effortlessly with zippers and Velcro, and folds flat for easy storage or transportation. It even includes a 5/8" mic adapter and a flex-on mic mount, making it compatible with nearly any studio microphone.

Key Features:

  • Patented 360 XYZ Pro-Acoustics for superior sound absorption and diffusion
  • RCD-shield to reduce external noise
  • Detachable side panels for easy assembly and portability
  • Integrated cable channel and mic mount
  • Mounts on standard PA-speaker stands (stand not included)

ISOVOX 2 Portable Isolation Booth - The Gear Gods Review - Gear Gods

geargods.net

The Isovox 2 Vocal-booth impresses with its effective sound isolation in a compact design, perfect for singers needing a portable solution. Though it offers significant sound absorption and isolation, its $999 price tag might deter some. However, for dedicated vocalists or voiceover artists, the investment could be worthwhile compared to larger, costlier booths. The ease of assembly and portability are standout features, although it requires an additional PA speaker stand. Overall, the Isovox 2 provides a practical, albeit pricey, alternative for home recording enthusiasts.

cool!

The sound is more "in your face" and the room sound is gone, and especially after compression this is very important. it is expensive but way cheaper then proper room treatment. IT muffels the sound a bit and it gets more bass nad a bit boxyness. But since your signal is pretty dry this is easier to handle the getting rid of the ouside noise and bleed. For me this is a must have to a homestudio. It makes drastic difference.
