Description
The Kala KA-SA-B Solid Acacia Baritone Ukulele is a harmonious blend of beauty, craftsmanship, and sound. Crafted entirely from solid acacia, this ukulele produces a warm, mellow tone that evolves and improves with age, reminiscent of its close cousin, the koa wood. The unique grain pattern of the acacia not only adds to its aesthetic appeal but also contributes to its rich tonal quality.
Designed for both amateur and seasoned players, the KA-SA-B features a mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard, ensuring a smooth and comfortable playing experience. The inclusion of a Graph Tech NuBone nut and saddle enhances the ukulele's tonal balance, while the Aquila Super Nylgut strings respond swiftly to dynamic strumming and fingerstyle playing. The satin finish provides a smooth feel, making it a joy to play for extended sessions.
Whether you're strumming away by a campfire or performing on stage, the KA-SA-B's robust build and precise craftsmanship ensure reliable performance. Its D-G-B-E tuning and 20.06" scale length offer guitarists an easy transition, while the slotted headstock and die-cast tuners maintain stable tuning. With thoughtful features like maple binding and a slotted headstock, this ukulele doesn't just sound great—it looks the part too.

In the start of the song oldies station you can see Tyler Joseph playing it, you can recognise it by the marks in the fretboard and the head stock
You can also see him playing it: - at the end of next semester video https://youtu.be/a5i-KdUQ47o?si=0bn__Lx65NhmfNqe&t=184
Start of Paladin strait https://youtu.be/mix9YfaaNa0?si=j7KKJqtZ_kco1Url&t=12
In the Clancy Music Videos Premiere Livestream he talks about using a baritone uke https://www.youtube.com/live/rR3_slOc-1U?si=k9TUOGKJbZDxx2th&t=4424
And all around the clancy world tour
Just to be clear, he uses a modified electro-acoustic version of the ukulele. but Kala hasn't released an official electro-acoustic KA-SA-B by the time make this submission (2025), so it's one of a kind.
But the tenor ukulele of the same model (KA SA T) uses KULA FISHMAN pickups, and I believe they're the same, as you can see halfway through this video: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/IkJ3JGkyLvU
