Just about the most beautiful instrument

Michael Kelly DragonFly basses are visually stunning. The fretboard is ornate (almost ostentatious), the headstock is elegant, the bridge is strong and does not require those stupid pins. Mine even came with a beautiful tween case. Seriously, this instrument is also a work of art.

BUT... it's not perfect. My main complaint is the strap-pin placement near the neck is stupid (it's under the far side, making the bass hang very unnaturally). And then they made it WORSE by integrating the 1/4" input jack with the back strap-pin, meaning you can't install any straplock system on this guitar. Absolutely idiotic. Seriously it is almost a deal-breaker. If it wasn't so damn beautiful!!
