Description

In the fourth instalment of our minimal intervention bass series we sound design a bit more, adding extra layers of chunk - usually in the attack of the sub - and sequence it into interesting and unusual territories. We are of course still talking the deepest level of sub - all on the verge of what an oscillator is capable of holding together.

As usual with everything Particular this pack oozes transistor and tube mojo - and a bit of grit. Insert into anything four to the floor and your track will instantly reach for the depths.

Created by playing as low as you can go and adding some extra layer of bite wherever fit. For sanity sakes we put a rolloff around 25 Hz - too deep is not always good!

Gear used: Oberheim OBMX, Moog Slim Phatty, Jomox MBase 11, Arturia Origin, Scope Modular 4, Warm Audio TB12 500 x 2, API 2500, Neve Portico 542 x 2.

In detail expect to find 165 wav files, in 120, 124 and 127 bpm:s - summing up to 177MB wav files in 48 kHz 24 bit.

Bass sounds in demo are all from this pack. Drums are from the Severed Bits - Components and Malfunctions packs. Detail loops from the Space Rangers - Imaginary Textures and Severed Bits - Filth Waivers packs.
