YYEAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!!

I ordered this set to replace the crappy stock pickups in my old Alvarez "Villain" bass, and the difference is night and day. These pickups have more of everything! More clarity, more output, more punch, more lows, more highs, and especially more of just the right midrange. They cut through my guitar tracks without overpowering the mix. Both pickups are great on their own, but with them both full-on they get that semi-scooped sound you hear on so many records (especially Duff McKagan's sound off the first few GnR records). In a word: "meaty". In two words: highly recommended.
