Description

Experience the pinnacle of ukulele craftsmanship with the Sparrow Thunderbird RedHeart Tenor. Part of our exclusive Thunderbird Series, this handcrafted ukulele is designed for musicians who demand both aesthetic beauty and unrivaled sound quality. Built to order in the USA, each instrument is a testament to meticulous attention to detail and premium material selection.

Crafted from exquisite Walnut and Redheart woods, this tenor ukulele boasts a striking visual appeal. The Walnut body and neck are complemented by an Ebony fingerboard with a comfortable 12" radius, making it a joy to play during long sessions. Its solid body construction and steel strings deliver a robust, resonant sound that's enhanced by the custom-designed, hand-wound pickup featuring Alnico V magnets. This pickup offers a rich, touch-sensitive tone with exceptional clarity.

What sets the RedHeart Tenor apart is its unique wiring for "coil splitting." By pulling out the tone knob, you can easily switch from the full-bodied humbucker sound to a clean, sparkling single-coil tone. The two-way adjustable truss rod ensures the perfect setup regardless of environmental conditions, while the ergonomically crafted body and cutaway provide ease of access to higher frets.

This ukulele comes with our custom GHS strings in Low G tuning, though High G is available upon request. With its smooth action, low backlash tuning gears, and superior intonation, the Sparrow Thunderbird RedHeart Tenor is ready to provide a stellar performance right out of the box.
