Bought this at the age of thirteen in 2004, when I was pretty new to the instrument. This was my first electric, my first guitar that actually belonged to me. At the time, I played a lot of classic rock and desert/stoner, and it served me fairly well. The stock pickups were a little hot for what I used them for, and the clean sound wasn't the best, which I fixed by running it through an OD with the tone up and the gain down. The best thing about this guitar is the neck. If I recall correctly, it is based on the Ibanez Wizard III neck, and it is still one of the most comfortable necks I've ever played on. I still play this guitar today, and it's my main mid-high gain passive instrument in standard tuning. Over the years I upgraded it, adding D'Addario auto trim locking tuners, CTS pots, a Switchcraft toggle and jack, and swapped the stock pickups for a Seymour Duncan Jazz in the neck and JB in the bridge.
