It sounds surprisingly good for the price tag, a good first pair of monitor speakers.
The overall sound quality is excellent, given the price that is required to own this it. You can adjust the treble and bass which might be useful to you. The speakers are loud enough for a room. However, the power is not enough to be used for outdoors use (duh). Accuracy of frequencies below 300Hz isn't great as you go louder. When I mix my songs, I tend to overshoot the bass because of this. For casual listening, I highly recommend this because not only it's cheap, but it sounds pretty damn good for the price (I've mentioned this a lot).
