I like pedals. You guys know that. I know that lots of you like pedals, too. Some of you don’t. I’m really sorry about that. This is the first post in a series I’m doing called “Pedals that I think are very cool.” This fine specimen is the @29pedals EUNA. EUNA stands for Elite UNity Amplifier. It does the job of an input buffer, which is not my thing at all. Except this thing is verrrry cool. It has a lil fx loop for your vintage fuzzes(heeeeyyyy) so when you want to use’em, it pulls the EUNA circuit out of the way and plops your fuzz-boi right in there no nasty buffer-fuzz blues. I don’t honestly know what it does. All I know is that it’s better on and worse off. Go give my bud Jesse a follow and check out the other cool shiz he’s going to be releasing into the world. Fun fact about Jesse is that when I told him I was from Winnipeg he said “Please take the pedal past some places where Neil Young used to hang out.” I found that very classy because lots of American people don’t know where or even what a Winnipeg is. Points in my book, Jesse. Other fun fact, my wife went the the same high school as Neil Young. Not so fun fact, lots of Canadians don’t even know where Winnipeg is. Which is crazy. Get a map. Frig. And check out 29 pedals.

Got my rig pretty dang dialled these days... Gotta say, I never would have found myself using a compressor but the @origineffects #sliderig deluxe is changing that opinion FAST.

I really like having a ton of control over my dynamics and all the comps I've tried have always kinda robbed that. But this one breaths soooo much. I know a lot of slide players like em, but it's new for me. I'm also mainly using it for solos but it'm finding room for it in my rhythm playing a bit too!

"LOOK WHAT CAME IN THE MAIL!?!?!?! I'm doing five shows with playing guitar in the house band with a tribute to The Band's "Last Waltz Concert" and the folks at @suhrcustom set me up with an Alt T pro for the run. It makes a little more sense for that music than any of the guitars I currently have in my arsenal… For starters, it's tuned to good old fashioned open E instead of my usual open C... I put flat wound 11s on it and it's thumpin! Although I'm only a foster parent for now, I may just have to adopt this little fella... #newguitarday #suhrcustom #suhrguitars #alttpro #gearporn"

In a video by Peach Guitars, Joey Landreth discusses his use of the Sorokin Wraptail Goldtop, an electric guitar crafted by Canadian builder Alexander Sorokin. Known for his dedication to 1950s P-90 equipped guitars, Sorokin has created a limited series of instruments, each designed with meticulous attention to detail. The Goldtop, Sorokin's first carved top model, features a finish reminiscent of early 1950s Kalamazoo guitars and is equipped with Sanford Magnetics pickups, offering a rich, snarly tone. Landreth's choice of this guitar highlights its exceptional craftsmanship and tonal qualities.

"I found this little fella the other day while perusing Toronto guitar shops with my buddy @kevcorbett. I told myself I didn't need another one but I couldn't stop thinking about it and had to go back. It's late 1959/early 1960 and it positively sings! Brownface Fenders are often described as a transitionary amp between the tweed and Blackface eras. Well, this puppy leans heavy on the tweed side! It's got a pair of old Jensen P10Qs in it instead of the later model's Oxford 10K5 which is also super cool. I'll try to post up some videos soon...!"
