The EV 635a is a field journalism microphone. Because of this it has a unique sound that works well for lo-fi recordings.
First seen at 00:16 infront of guitarist/backup vocalist. Seen again at 0:45 beeing used by lead vocalist.

Joey Walker of King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard frequently uses the Gibson SG 12-String Neck-Through Limited during live performances, as seen in photos from their Berlin concert shared on the band's Instagram.
Joey used a JX-3P during the recording of the Polygondwanaland album, and can be seen playing it (with the PG-200 programmer attached) at several parts in the video beginning at 1:40:29.

In this performance, Joey can be seen using this 2002 Gibson flying V with crescent moon inlays. It is seen clearly at 12:53 in the video. This seems to be the guitar he uses the most when playing songs from Infest the Rats Nest. 2002 is the only year that Gibson made this guitar with crescent moon inlays and they are highly sough after.
The guitar was crushed by a lift in Barcelona alongside Stu's Holy Explorer. The guitar was repaired and returned for the Jan. 6th, 2023 show in New Zealand, and came back permanently at the start of the EU/UK 2023 tour.
After Joey's Flying V was crushed by a lift in Barcelona (alongside Stu's Holy Explorer), the two went to Guitar Shop Barcelona to get new guitars for that evening's show. Joey's guitar of choice was the Gibson Flying V Faded 2016. He has been using that guitar since then.
