I'd played strat style guitars with humbuckers for years for hard rock and heavy metal. But I always wanted an actual strat with single coils. Since buying my first strat in early 2017, and another shortly after, they've been my go-to guitars. Great tone, great feel. They're now my favorite guitars in my collection.
Amplifiers 4
This is a great, affordable, and very loud bass amplifier for a very affordable price. A few built-in effects such as overdrive, and ultra-hi and ultra-lo boosts give you plenty of ways to craft your sound. This is simply one of the best solid-state bass amps I've ever played. Would highly recommend for gigging, recording, or just jamming at home.
Effects Pedals 11
The idea of spending 100 bucks on a tuner can be a little concerning, but this thing is worth every penny, and it's built like a tank. Super accurate, very durable. Great pedal.
Bass Guitars 2
I've had this bass guitar for about 7 years, and it's the only bass I've ever owned. After changing the pickups to EMG's, and adding a 18 volt conversion a few years ago, this thing roars. The unique bridge style adds a significant amount of sustain due to the bridge's added mass, although it does get a little uncomfortable to rest your palm on if you use a pick. Great bass.
Other Gear 8
Been primarily using these picks for a little over a year and they've become my favorite pick. They've got just enough give for strumming, but enough rigidity and control for picking as well. I've also never dropped one, so they're very grippy. Would highly recommend for most styles of playing. Great all around pick.
Best strings I've ever played. I've tried many different brands and many different gauges, but for standard or drop D, nothing else comes close.
