Simple

it eases workflow, but mapping keys and chords. if you are not a keyboard player this will make it easy on your productions.

No More Jitter

This is the only thing that has eliminated latency in my setup. If you are all about external gear, get this for your rig. It's just amazing.

Cool, but....

I like the simplicity of this synth, but I think that for $600 you could invest in starting your modular rig. I know that its a different beast, but you could get something better for $600 its all.

8 Audio tracks and 8 Midi tracks

I have mine rigged so I can play 8 audio tracks and 8 midi tracks. I use channels 1-4 to control my Elektron Analog 4, Channel 5 for my Korg Minilogue and Channel 6 for my Sub37. It has changed the way I make music.

So I just bought a MBK and had to take it back, because it was making my monitors sound funky. People say that its just a Mackie thing, so it kind of pushed me to go for the presonus one cuz, I just don't have time and patience anymore when it comes to gear that its supposed to make your life easier haha! so, I wouldnt recomend it, but that's just my experience.

Sorry which monitors do you use? I have a couple of yamaha hs 7 and I'm wondering if the Mackie will work with them...
