My Gear 6

Great bass, and makes the 6 string world approachable for bassists coming from 4s and 5s. 35" scale length might be off putting to some, but for bigger people, this certainly helps. the controls are very dynamic and let you do way more than expected with a 3 band EQ, volume, and blend. Is ready to gig or record with right off the bat, and very easy to do so. If you can get ahold of one on the aftermarket, do it before the price skyrockets. Only issues i have are that the G and C strings don't have as full of a sound due to being stretched out the extra inch, but that's what needs to be sacrificed for a solid B and E string.
Solid alto sax for the collegiate aged musician, or someone looking to take their playing up a little. Although not the horn you'd see a full time musician using, this is perfect for the casual musician, be they playing in a bedroom or jam band. Sounds relatively full, tone does what it needs. It feels kinda fast, once you get moving, it's hard to stop

Great wind controller from 20 years ago. Onboard tones are pretty nice, but you really want to make or buy your own patches to play with. Is very much meant for serious musicians, as it's not as beginner friendly, but pro friendly for certain. Because it's an older synthesizer, it's going to use the old 5 pin, isolated I/O MIDI ports, but that can easily be remedied by using a MIDI to USB cable from Roland. The PC software is very friendly and makes uploading and modifying sounds way faster than expected, something that the older models didn't have as much of a case of.
