Albert King

Albert King is mostly known for the 1959 Gibson Flying V he played which is also featured in the Equipboard Albert King profile picture.

This all mahagony 1968 Gibson Flying V in cherry was also used by Albert King for live work. It's been recalled in this article also.

This guitar was also famous as being played by Albert King. It was built by John Bolin. "Albert King" is also written on the fretboard. In the video (e.g. 0:39) you can see him playing this instrument.

It's mentioned in this Gibson article that Albert King used a Roland JC120:

He didn't use a Roland JC head it was a combo. In this article they talk about Acoustic head.
