In this Youtube video Anssi Kela told (in 0.45), that his first guitar was a Squier Stratocaster, about 1985. He has customized the guitar by changing the bridge microphone to unknown and removing 2 of 3 potentiometers.

In this video (4.39), Kela told that he loaned a Gretsch Tennessee Rose from Ile Jokinen to record his album Nummela, but had to buy his own guitar for the tour. He bought it from Halkan's Rockhouse, in Stockholm. Kela's song Milla, was recorded on this guitar.

Notable thing is this Merle Travis -Bigsby, I have never seen this kind of Bigsby outside this.

I bought it in the end of 2001 as a gift for an excellent tour to myself from London.

Anssi tells in the "Soitinratsia" -video (12.33), that he bought a B-bender Telecaster from his friend. He tried to sell it, but the guitar was returned to Anssi.

In Anssi Kela's YouTube video "SOITINRATSIA 1: Anssi Kelan kitarat," he discusses how he acquired a Rickenbacker 330/12 12-String Guitar. Originally owned by Jarmo Vähähaka of Frostbites, the guitar was frequently loaned to Kela before he eventually purchased it. Notably, Kela mentions that the guitar is missing its distinctive R-shaped bridge.

In this video (20.42), Kela told he bought a Gretsch 6120 Chet Atkins Nashville 1967.

I got it for a secondary guitar. I realized later that this was a bad choice. This has different microphones than my other Gretsch, and it sounded horrible.

This guitar has a built-in damper.

In this picture, Anssi Kela can be seen playing a Charvel Frankenstrat. Kela told in his video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o8Kz9wdv0oE&t, 26.21), that he got it for his 40th birthday from his friends.

Kela has customized the guitar by adding a neck pickup. The guitar was stolen once, but the thief was caught soon.

When the guitar was at the installation of neck pickup, Lottonen [luthier] had to engrave space for the pickup. The paint part is so hard, Lottonen's tools overheated, and the guitar almost got on fire.

In this picture, you can see Anssi playing a Gretsch White Falcon 2011. Kela told in his video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o8Kz9wdv0oE&t, 30.27) that he always plays his song Nummela on this exact guitar.

In this video (32.36) Anssi Kela told, that he got himself a Nile Rodgers Hitmaker 2014. Anssi got the signature of Nile Rodgers in the guitars headstock, when Rodgers was opening the concert of Duran Duran in Kaisaniemi, Helsinki.

This was my main guitar on the album Nostalgiaa.

Then I noticed a Martin HD-28 on the wall. I looked at the price tag: fourteen grand. Absolutely insane. But I had to try it, of course. And that was an expensive mistake. I played one chord and immediately went: “Holy shit…” In the end, the investment was worth every penny. I began writing new songs with my new guitar, and these songs eventually formed my solo debut album Nummela. I finally learned the art of storytelling in song format and found my own voice as a songwriter. The Martin provided the framework for the change.
