I’m trying to remember where I bought that, the Hiwatt. I just needed a guitar amp. I got that for the Fear Of Pop record. So I bought that in 1997 and then, yeah, I just needed something to.. and I honestly used it for Rockin the Suburbs.. I'm a shitty guitar player, but I play all the guitar on that. And that was distorted through the Hiwatt. I think that one you have to hit really super hard before it breaks up or it used to be the case. And when it does, it's pretty incredibly mean. It's a loud amp.

This AKG C414 EB is from the private collection of Ben Folds, used in 'Ben's Studio' which was the former RCA Studio A in Nashville, TN SN: N/A. Labeled BF1.

I also used the Baldwin Acrosonic upright, a Baldwin baby grand with tacks stuck in the hammers that I used on “Away When You Were Here,” the old upright from “Brick,” a Wurlitzer EP, a Hammond B-3 organ, and that little Casio that was laying around.
