Bill Briggs' Gear
Briggs played a Hohner Pianet during the Remains’ 1965 appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show.
Briggs can be seen playing a Vox Continental during this television performance with The Remains.
In this photo, Briggs can be seen playing a Wurlitzer electric piano. Based on the screws on the side of the piano, I believe the model is from the 145 series. The 145B was produced through 1965 (other models stopped production earlier), so that is my best guess.
In this photo, Briggs can be seen playing a Farfisa Combo Compact organ. The photo comes from one of the Remains’ first recording sessions in 1965 at Columbia Studio A in Manhattan.
