Duane used a Yamaha SBG-500, according to this Guitar Geek rig diagram.
His main model, this was made custom for Duane by EGC. Unlike most other models, this guitar doesn't have the EGC pickups, but instead has Gibson pickups.
He can be seen using the BFG Les Paul in many performances and videos (such as this one).
Duane uses two Travis Bean Standards, one of which is a 1976 model, according to Guitar Geek.
Duane used a Hiwatt DR103 amp head from 1990 to 1994, according to this Guitar Geek rig diagram.
Duane can be seen using a black Hamer Daytona (possibly as a backup to his Travis Beans?) throughout this video, as well as other performances.

In this YouTube video https://youtu.be/zYZhAkpX_m4 of Tomahawk from 2003, Denison plays an ES-135 with a Bigsby for the entire set. In this 2021 interview with Guitarguitar, Denison mentions playing a Schecter Solo II Special on Tomohawk's Tonic Immobility.
"I also used a Schecter, a Solo II Special, their version of a Les Paul Special. For a reasonably priced Asian import, those are great.
GG: Oh, yeah!
DD: They sound great, they play great, there’s nothing wrong with them. I am not a snob. I like high-end gear, but I don’t turn my nose up at something just because it’s popular or reasonably priced."
Duane Denison's use of the Line 6 Helix Floor is confirmed by a photo included in the Premier Guitar Rig Rundown, authored by Chris Kies.
“Another favorite of Denison’s is the Fender Super-Sonic 22 that was used extensively on Tomahawk’s 2012 Oddfellows and the subsequent support tours.”
Duane Denison prefers using the Marshall JCM900 4100 over the JCM800 and JVM models. This preference is confirmed in the "The Jesus Lizard Rig Rundown [2025]" video by Premier Guitar on YouTube.
