Duncan Sheik's Gear
In this 2005 video (and several others), Duncan Sheik can be seen playing his Gibson ES-335. He also plays it in the 1998 music video for "Wishful Thinking".

Duncan Sheik was photographed in the April 1998 issue of Acoustic Guitar magazine playing the Froggy Bottom style H guitar with Koa back and sides, spruce top, and ebony fingerboard. The periodical asserts that it "is his primary studio instrument".
In the days of his debut album, Duncan Sheik often used an Alvarez acoustic-electric 6503 from the Yairi series. It can be seen in his video for Barely Breathing and in live performances such as on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno (April 17, 1997). The guitar was purchased at Rudy's in New York.
In the late '90s, Duncan Sheik often played an Alvarez Bob Weir WY1BK with a cedar top, rosewood back and sides, a black finish, and the Alvarez 500 preamp/EQ system.

At 34m40s in a February 12, 2021 interview with "My First Band Podcast", Duncan Sheik states that he had an MS-10 in middle school.
I went to this school called Eaglebrook. [...] I was there for 7th, 8th, and 9th grade. And that's when I started acquiring [...] I had a Korg MS10 monophobic synthesizer. That, I wish I still had.
