Eric Schenkman confirms using a Pensa-Suhr 1989 Custom Stratocaster, as he personally requested John Suhr to build this unique guitar specifically for the Spin Doctors. In his own words, "This guitar... in 1989, I asked @johnsuhr to build me a strat for the spindocs... it was my main guitar on 'Pocketful of Kryptonite' and it was the last thing I grabbed for the new @spindoctorsband rekkid... glad I did cause it's my main guitar on this one too." The guitar was originally built by @mashinonyc at @rudysmusic and features a Wilkinson bridge installed by Rich Koerner in 1991, along with single coils wound by @lordthomasnilsen of @creamtguitars.
