In this interview with Tape Op, Geoff states that he uses 1968 Fender Twin amplifiers. He goes on to say that he owns another within three serial numbers of the other. He modified these amps to improve their sound as he was sick of the crummy CBS era quality. These amplifiers led him to discover a great deal about the powers of modification and engineered his signature sound.
